Some interesting things about Mehandi ( मेहँदी के बारे में कुछ रोचक बातें) मेहंदी का इतिहास बहुत पुराना है। यह प्राचीन काल से उपयोग होती आ रही है, लगभग 5000 साल या उससे भी पहले से। इतिहास से हमें पता चलता है कि मेहंदी भारत में मुगल साम्राज्यों द्वारा शुरू की गई थी। यह भी कहा जाता है कि मेहंदी मूल रूप से भारत की है। मेहंदी को "लॉसोनिया इनर्मिस' (lawsonia inermis) और " सरू फूल ”भी कहा जाता है। मेंहदी शब्द लैटिन अरबी नाम से लिया गया है जिसे "हिना" कहा जाता है। मेहंदी के पौधे की पत्तियों को सुखाकर मेहंदी तैयार की जाती है और फिर पानी के साथ मिलाकर इसका घोल बनाया जाता है मेहँदी लगाने की परम्परा न केवल हिन्दू समुदाय  में प्रचलित है बल्कि यह मुस्लिम समुदाय में भी खूब प्रचलित है मेहँदी न केवल शादी में लगाई जाती है बल्कि यह त्यौहार अदि पर भी खूब मन से लगाई जाती है आजकल लड़कियों को मेहंदी लगाना खूब पसंद है नई नई डिज़ाइन लगवाती हैं सभी लोगों का अपना अपना कल्चर (culture) होता है मगर मेहँदी एक ऐसी परम्परा है जो सभी में एक जैसी पाई जाती है मेहंदी नारी श्रृंगार का एक अभि...
